Shirley Horn

Bittersweet show last night. Shirley Horn is alive and in fine voice. This is my first time seeing her since she lost her foot and can no longer play the piano. She still swings...........even from a whellchair.

Friday observation

It is my (humble) opinion that history will likely prove the reagan "legacy" dubious at best. Too much neglect of the less fortunate not to mention the out right crimes. A much greater loss to this planet and one with a real and profound legacy is that of Ray Charles. There will be no need of "selective" memory to insure Mr. Charles his place in history.
